The next day I went to Great Ormond Street which in some ways is very sad and in other ways makes you smile. The kids are going thorough absolute hell everyday of their lives yet still manage to smile and laugh which is just amazing. Credit goes to them, their parents and most of all the staff. What they do on a daily basis is just incredible and I want to thank them so much for having me and I look forward to visiting there as much as I can in the near future.

Wednesday I did my first T.V appearance with a band which was superb - it was called ‘The Crush’ and will be shown on 4Music, Channel 4, Smash Hits and The Box throughout August!!

That evening I travelled to Plymouth Air Show and had a fantastic time. Was a shame about the weather, lots of rain but there were still thousands of people there cheering all the acts on, I hope you all enjoyed the performances.

On Thursday I travelled up to MEN Arena in Manchester for my first Radio Promo gig and what a line up they had there: Scouting for Girls, Pixie Lott, The Hoosiers, Alexandra Burke, Amy Macdonald, Craig David, Taio Cruz, The Script + many more! I managed to see Scouting for Girls who are just top guys, really down to earth and friendly, love seeing them - they are a great live band. Saw Pixie Lott she was lovely as well, had a nice chat to her as I’m a massive fan.

The next day I was at i-Tunes festival watching Amy Macdonald, really good gig love her music and I had a chat live on ITV2 with Fearne Cotton and Dave Berry.

Saturday I had a BBQ round my nana and pops which was a surprise for them as the whole family came round for it! In the evening I went out with my mates to a local club and had a few drinks.

Sunday I played at the Midlands Music Festival, the crowd were TOPS…..Thanks to all the fans that came and for the ones that had the banners.

Sorry about the long essay, hope you haven’t fallen asleep reading this (ha ha ha). Just want to say a massive thank you for all the support up and down the country, your love is amazing. Thank you for all following the twitter & facebook sites. I’m trying to update these as much as possible and I want fans to realise that it is me that updates them.

Firstly I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone that came, donated, watched and supported Soccer Aid. We managed to raise over 2million in the space of 4hrs on the tele that’s FANTASTIC. I had an amazing 5days with the guys, had such a laugh and was a dream come true being a pro-footballer for a week.

Currently I’m at studio recording a new song today, everything has been going so well and I’m very excited about how its all coming together. A week or so ago I did the photoshoot for the singles and album that was cool. Bit strange to be asked ‘Give us a sexy face?? Etc’ I mean how do you do that I’ve only ever been good at just giving the cheesy smile in pics so that was weird for me to do. Ha ha.

Can’t give you any news on release dates yet but all will be out soon.

Friday I’m at ‘Newmarket Racecourse’ and sunday I’m at the ‘Isle of Man’ festival. So very much looking forward to them and if anyone is going look forward to seeing you there.

Well the last few weeks have been very busy and long may that continue.
Been in studio for most of it with some of the best writers/producers in Britain and I’m very working hard. Epic are giving me the freedom to write on the album with these guys and I’m having a big input. IT’S GREAT!!! Can’t for you all to hear it.

I’ve managed in the last few weeks to get to Scotland, Ireland and Marbella. That volcano has caused lots of problems, I hope it hasn’t affected you all too much. I still can’t believe I travelled 3,000 miles in the car there and back to spain. Loved it and had a top time.

As you all properly know, I’m a massive Manchester United fan and in the last 7 days I have trained at Carrington, played at old trafford for United Relief and went to the player of the year awards. Being a fan this has been a dream come true. United Relief was a fantastic day and again would like to thank everyone that came along and showed their support. Lots of money was raised and this will all help. Though I’m gutted for my dad who was suppose to come to the awards but broke his leg.

Also as I write this my tour manager has just mentioned only 9 days till my birthday….OH DEAR another year older. Booo hoooo.

Just going into studio now, hope the sun is shining wherever you are.

So…..X Factor tour finished on sunday which I enjoyed so much, was a fantastic experience. Had a great time with crew, artists and dancers, I will never forget all the laughs and the banter.

Anyway….. Last week has been the most exciting yet….I’ll explain…. So after Easter weekend I performed at Glasgow campus in the evening which was wicked…plus wore a kilt!!!! So funny…. I think campus liked it??? Then easter monday I performed 2 shows at East Kilbride shopping centre, I just want to say a huge thanks to all the staff, security and all the acts that were on before me they were all so friendly, polite and made me feel so welcome… Oh had the best chicken caeser salad aswell. So from there we travelled back to Essex and I saw my parents who I can’t believe have changed my room into a guest bed. Ha ha but its better than it was before so high 5 to my mum.

Wednesday was great I travelled down to Rye and recorded my 2nd song. Was a day full of laughs with Mark, Andy, Ali and the talking animals. Lol Loved all the vintage instruments and the real old skool feel to the studio as it was in the middle of nowhere…..oh thanks Heidi for the food.

Thursday morning I shot over to Epic and listened to a new track, I absolutely love it but before I record it I was doing a testing photoshoot for singles/album/website during the day…I really enjoyed the day, loved the clothes and looks I had. The photos looked cool. So currently as I’m writing this I’m recording this new song, its so cheeky and cool and I just love the sound. That’s all I can tell you.

Its 11.01am and i’m now on my way to ABERDEEN. We stopped off in EDINBURGH last night after our 6 Hour Bus Film marathon, managed to watch ‘This is England’ & ‘Blood Diamond’ but also the most important thing when I got to Edinburgh was…..I managed to get a NANDOS!!! Good Times!!! Ha ha

Anyway well looking forward to performing in SCOTLAND. I played at ‘The CAMPUS in Glasgow early this year and the crowd reaction here was just superb so well looking forward to swinging my hips there tonight!!

We have just been in Nottingham for two nights and I would just like to give a huge shout out as the 2 nights there were on fire. I also had 2 gigs of my own at OCEANA for the 2 Nottingham Universities. The students really do know how to PARTY, 2 great nights and I managed to stay for one of them and have a few drinks which was nice, great to have a night out.

So I’ll see you all on tour if you’re coming guys, oh and a massive thank you for all the cards I have received for getting for my deal. Sending a huge kiss and a hug to you all !!! x

Currently as I’m sure you are all aware I’m on tour at the moment. If you come along make sure you all have your dancing shoes on as I wanna see you all up having a boogie!!! Its been great to catch up with all the fans at the shows and I look forward to seeing you all up and down the country.

Since the show I have been all over Britain/Ireland performing at local nightclubs and private functions. The support has been phenomenal!! It’s been so cool to catch up with all of you that voted for me on the show and I can’t thank you enough!!!!  After the tour this will continue…..
